Applications may be obtained on-line or by contacting any of our regional or international recruiting offices.

All applicants are considered on the basis of their own merits, and must complete the following steps before the acceptance decision can be made.

1.      Submit a completed and signed Student Application.

2.      Provide copies of all necessary documents.

Procedure For Admission

A completed APPLICATION form is required. Particular attention should be paid to the Academic Work part of the Application which must reflect all of your personal Academic and Work Experiences (Note: copies of diplomas', transcripts, certificates, etc. are helpful). After completing this part of the application in its entirety, the Admissions Office will be able to determine how many distance learning academic credits will be awarded to you. Many of your documented experiences can be translated into university credit. Please feel comfortable in submitting a full personal portfolio for evaluation. All application be submitted via your recruitment advisor.

 

  Completed Secondary School or mature students with  working experience.   

       

  Completed Secondary School with Certificate/Diploma or equivalent, or

  An Associate Degree/ Higher Diploma, or

  Professional qualifications, or

  Mature students with working experience.

      

  Same as Bachelor Degree.

       

  A Bachelor Degree, or

  Professional qualifications, or

  Mature students with relevant working experience.

   

   A Master Degree or equivalent.

Since the Cleveland University academic degree program begins immediately upon registration, it is strongly suggested that students submit all parts of the application at one time. Major credit cards are accepted. All payments be made in US dollars.

Upon acceptance to Cleveland University and receiving the registration payments, the Administration Center will send the entire Student Kit, which includes the Handbook, course works, instruction and all other materials needed for the completion of the Cleveland Degree Program. If a student is not accepted for admission, their registration fee will be refunded in full.

The Assignment of a Mentor:

After registration, a Mentor will be assigned to you to help you with all of your assignments and with any questions you might have. This Mentor is an individual who is understanding to your needs and is a prominent teacher within the specialization you have chosen. Your personal Mentor (Advisor) is available to you during regular school hours or, 24 hours a day, seven days a week via E-mail.

Procedures for International Students:   

International students should follow the same application procedures described for local students. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (T.O.E.F.L.) is not necessary when an international student studies with Cleveland University. As an internationally accredited university, all degree programs can be completed in the student's native language. Presently, the Cleveland Programs can be completed in: English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese and Arabic.

Combine Degree Program:

A well-qualified student may be permitted to sub-matriculate, that is, to begin work on a higher degree program before completing all the requirements for graduation at a lower degree level. While there is considerable tuition savings when a student is permitted to sub-matriculate, the Admissions Committee is the only authority that can grant approval for a student candidate to enter a Combination Degree Program.

Educational Expenses As A Tax Deduction:

Educational expenses may be deductible when the expenses are incurred as a part of an effort to maintain or improve skills required as a condition of your employment, job status or compensation. Consult your tax advisor to determine if your educational expenses can be used to your tax advantage.
